Had a blinding time when I went there for a stag do, though that was about 15 years ago.
Cookie Club was superb for Indie and Rock music and that's all I remember.
Also made the stag do a double from every optic in one pub and he was so fucked he shit himself.
The hotel bed looked like spuds from Trainspotting the following morning!!

Last time we had a night out in Nottingham I got lobbed out a club by 4 bouncers (for talking to the club owners bird at the bar) ... they would not give me jacket back so started hammering on the door... 2 bouncers came out and we had a lovely spot of Queensbury's for a few minutes... oh I got me jacket back... the club owner came out and threw it under a cab... lovely place... in it's defence there is a very nice vodka bar in the city...

Fucking hell Northern! I didn't have you down as a Lord Zoltan. Cheers peroni son... actually me MATES were left in the club as they did not know I'd been lobbed out... when one of them found out he came out as I was holding the whip... and then fucked off back inside... !! Thing is fella I could handle being chucked out for doing fuck all... I could not handle those cunts not giving me desmond' back to us... it was an original beige Harrington... would have been straight on ebay...
